Some of the virus nowadays has the capability to hide files or folders on a USB Flash Drive and it makes clone files with the same name and icon that pretend to be the original files or folders, this is where the virus is hidden. Most of the anti-virus can detect this kind of virus and remove it but it left the original files or folders gone or hidden. By following this tutorial, you can easily fix and unhide the files or folders on the USB Flash drive that hidden by a virus.

  • Plug your USB Flash Drive on PC (you must know the drive letter, Example: E:/), be insure that it's already scanned by an anti-virus and it considered virus-free.
  • Open the Command Prompt application (if you're using Windows 7, Run it as Administrator).
  • Type the following:
X:/
(Note: change X with the drive letter of your USB Flash Drive)
  • Then input this:
attrib -s -h /s /d *.*

Are you tired of wasting your money just to have unlimited internet? If you don't want to spend P50 (for UnliSurf promo) for a day, follow my tutorial below to enjoy free internet. Understand carefully the step-by-step instructions to make it work, don't be so slow, OK?

You must need the following:
  • Computer/laptop running windows XP or 7
  • SmartBro USB broadband stick (you can use Globe Tattoo stick just ensure that it is open-lined to all network).
  • Smart Bro Sim with at least 1 peso load (not Smart Prepaid sim because it will not work).
Note: It will work on selected Smart Bro sim cards only.
Instructions:
  • Extract HSS-3.13-Portable.zip (then move the "HSS v3.13" folder to desktop for easy access).
(Note: If you have no idea on how to extract a zip file, just ask Google.)
  • Open the extracted folder.
  • Run the "TapInstall.exe" (Run As Admin for windows7 users). A window will pop out, just wait until the drivers are installed, it takes several seconds to successfully installed, after that press the Finish Button to exit window.
(Note: Just install the Tap Adapter drivers once, you don't need to run TapInstall.exe again next time you connect).
  • Now plug your SmartBro USB Broadband to your computer/laptop. Wait for the dashboard to show then click CONNECT. Wait for about few seconds until it connects.
(Note: if there's a notification showing "Disconnect", it means your connected).
  • Navigate to "HSS v3.13" folder again.
  • Run "OpenVPNPortable.exe" (Run As Admin for win7 users).
  • Wait until the yellow shield icon appears on the taskbar.
  • Right click the icon and choose Connect.
  • A window will pop out and the OpenVPN icon color change to blue because it's connecting, just wait until the window disappears.
  • Check the icon if it is turns green because it means that your now connected.
  • Open your favorite browser and enjoy browsing the internet.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How to disconnect HSS/OpenVPN?
  • Double-click the green HSS icon on the taskbar then a window will pop-out, just click disconnect, wait until the window disappears.
  • Disconnect also your SmartBro Broadband.
I can't connect to SmartBro Dashboard? What should i do?
  • You need to have at least P1 load because sometimes smart network doesn't allow connection to internet if you have zero load.
  • You have load but still not connecting, maybe your SIM card is blocked by your network. ask Google on how to unblock it.
Slow internet browsing using HSS?
  • It's our network provider's fault, or
  • Maybe there's a lot of users using HSS so it become congested.
Can i use Globe SIM?
  • No because this is applicable for Smart network only.
Why I'm not able to connect to HSS? It just stuck at "UDPv4 link remote: 0.0.0.0:0"?
  • Just click Reconnect until the "Warning: this configuration will cache passwords in memory..."  shows and it will continue to connect.
  • Still stuck at "UDPv4 link remote: 0.0.0.0:0"? It means your Smart Bro sim card is not allowed to use HSS, try another Smart Bro sim.
  • Still stuck? Maybe the config used is not working anymore. I will update it soon if it will happen.
Why my internet is using different country ip address?
  • It is normal because this vpn uses other countries ip address, you can still browse the internet using these IPs.

Credits:
  • thanks to free internet masters of Symbianize for HSS/OpenVPN Portable.
  • thanks to all the users who edited the config files to make it work.

"Is it illegal? No because Virtual Private Network (VPN) is just an app that makes our internet browsing more secure so using of it is legal to most of the countries (if i'm not mistaken). Don't get mad at me if I'm sharing it, i just want them to experience the free internet that I've learned somewhere.
